Keeping children safe on Spoink
Spoink, developed and operated by Spoink Pty (Ltd) and published on Google Play under the Top Code developer account, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page explains what's prohibited, how we detect and act on it, and how to report a concern.
What's prohibited
Spoink prohibits any content or behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor, including but not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, real or simulated
- Sexualized depictions, descriptions, or comments involving a minor
- Grooming, solicitation, or attempts to arrange contact with a minor for a sexual purpose
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAE content hosted elsewhere
Accounts found to have posted or solicited this material are permanently banned, and the associated content is removed on discovery.
How we detect and respond
Every post and comment on Spoink is automatically screened by an AI content-moderation system at the moment it's submitted. Content flagged as high-risk is held back from publishing and routed to human review before any action is taken.
Every post, comment, and profile also carries a "Report" option inside the app, so any user can flag content directly to our moderation team without needing to leave Spoink.
When a violation is confirmed — whether caught by automated screening, a user report, or moderator review — the content is removed and the responsible account is permanently banned, including disabling their ability to sign back in.
Legal compliance
Spoink complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions it operates in, and cooperates with law enforcement and relevant child protection authorities on CSAE matters, including reporting where legally required.
